On Sunday 31st July 2022 Pat HB9GNB/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Haut de Cry and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 11 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
