The curb at the intersection of Rose and Prospect was once considered a geology hotspot. The curb was famous due to the separation caused by seismic forces. Over the years the curb as gone from flush to pulled apart at a rate of four millimeters per year. In June 2016 the curb was repaired by a city crew causing angst to geologists and other enthusiasts.
