Heavenly Metal was commissioned by Main Street Mobile in 2018 and created by Bruce Larsen. The plaque adjacent to the artwork states the materials used to create "Heavenly Metal" were reclaimed from Mobile's World War II effort, including railroad spikes, wrenches and farming implements.
