On Monday 4th July 2022 Peter DL/ON4UP/P a radio amateur from Belgium reached the summit of
Herrenwald and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 46 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
