On Friday 18th November 2022, WW4D KW4JM and N4LAG, three US radio amateurs reached the summit of High Rock and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 84 contacts in total working on the 60, 30, 20, 15, 17, 12 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of High Rock is 1372 metres (4501 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
