First introduced for the 2013 model year, the Hyundai Veloster Turbo was South Korea's answer to Europe's hot hatch craze. A replacement for the Tiburon/Tuscani/Coupe sport compact, American models receive the more powerful 201 hp, Gamma I4 producing 195 lb-ft of torque while European models were less powerful with 186 hp with the same amount of torque to differentiate from the Kia Pro Cee'd GT. The shooting brake-inspired hot hatch gave way for Hyundai's N performance division that makes the ultimate Veloster model.
