On Saturday 30th July 2022 Tetsuya JL1SDA/3 a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Hyunosen (Suganosen) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 17 contacts in total working on the 40, 20, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
