Jim Hendricks is an American guitarist and folk musician. He was married to Cass Elliot, of the music group the Mamas and the Papas, from 1963-1968. It was reportedly a platonic arrangement to assist him in avoiding being drafted during the Vietnam War. The marriage reportedly was never consummated and was annulled.

Hendricks plays guitar, mandolin, dobro and autoharp and has recorded over 50 albums spanning a variety of styles, mainly Americana, country and contemporary Christian, including several instrumental albums for Benson Records and later Maple Street Music, a label he co-founded in 1996.
