Kaci Hickox lives here with her boyfriend, Ted Wilbur. She is a health care worker who worked in ebola stricken Sierra Leone. When she returned to the United States in October of 2014, she was screened for ebola symptoms and was placed in quarantine in New Jersey when she was tested with a forehead thermometer, which showed she had a temperature of 101 degrees. After three days all subsequent tests including her temperature showed no signs of ebola , she was released from Quarantine in New Jersey. She then traveled to her home in Maine where she refused to comply with Maine's self quarantine order. She did comply with active monitoring by having here temperature taken twice daily.
