On Sunday 18th December 2022, Ante 9A8RA/P and Ivica 9A6CW, two radio amateurs from Croatia reached the summit of Kimet and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 99 contacts in total working on the 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Kimet is 1536 metres (5039 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
