On Saturday 15th October 2022, Takeshi JK1VUZ/6, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Kujyuurenzan (Taisenzan) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 11 contacts in total working on the 70cm UHF and the 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
