Kurikomayama (JA/MG-002)

On Wednesday 15th March 2023, Ito JA7ENA, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Kurikomayama and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 5 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.

The summit of Kurikomayama is 1627 metres (5938 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.

Kurikomayama is in the Miyagi Prefecture on Honshu Island.
