On Wednesday 27th July 2022 Henry IW3AGO/P a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of La Bianca / Ratschinger Weißen and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 44 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of La Bianca / Ratschinger Weißen is 2822 metres (9259 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
