On Saturday 22nd July 2023, Beni HB9HNT/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Löffelhorn and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 35 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
