Maior cajueiro do mundo or Cajueiro de Pirangi translates to the largest cashew tree in the world, and is just that. The tree was awarded the title by Guinness Book of Records in 1994 when it was confirmed that the single tree, which takes up the area of 1.8 acres, is over 70 times the size of a normal cashew tree. The tree, which is an estimated 1,000 years old, produces over 60,000 cashew bearing fruits annually.
