On Sunday 12th March 2023, Hartwig DL7BC/P, a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Le Ramelstein and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 79 contacts in total working on the 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
