On Saturday 1st July 2023, Jean-Pierre HB9HBV/P and Juerg HB9BIN, two radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Le Sérac and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 14 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.

The summit of Le Sérac is 2818 metres (9245 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
