Legend Rock Petroglyph Site is a Wyoming State Park where approximately 300 petroglyphs on 92 different panel are chiselled into the vertical cliffs.
The site has great spiritual significance to Native Americans tribes including the Crow, Arapahoe, Sioux, Kiowa, Blackfoot and Cheyenne.
The earliest petroglyphs date aback six Milenia and are in the style of ancestor group of the Shoshone. The designs incorporate humans, animals and geometric patterns, with many of the human figures sporting headdresses and decorated torsos.
