It was reported in the May 2023 issue of Buses Magazine that the Traffic Commissioner for the West of England had revoked Grey Cars Operators Licence with effect from 31st March 2023.

Grey Cars began operating in the Torquay area in 1913. The trading name has been used by different companies over the 110 years but latterly was used by Millman Coaches.

The company’s licence was revoked when serious defects were discovered with the Grey Cars fleet and it was found that the company employed no qualified technicians.
