The minister for the Fourth Street Church of Christ in Selmer, TN was late to Wednesday Bible study on March 22, 2006. Members of the church found a spare key to the parsonage at 174 Mollie Drive and let themselves in. They found the body of their minister, Matthew Winkler, dead from a shotgun blast to the back. Missing were his wife, Mary, and their three children. After a brief interstate flight, Mary Winkler confessed to and was charged with the murder.
