Built in 2009, this complex features four ice hockey rinks (three NHL-sized, one Olympic-sized). It serves as the official training facility for the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and their minor league (AHL) team, the Toronto Marlies.

Hockey Canada's national teams also train here, and visiting NHL teams often practice here.

The Canadian figure skating competition TV show Battle of the Blades was filmed here in 2011 and 2013 (third and fourth seasons). The show paired a retired hockey player with a professional figure skater to perform figure skating routines. In other words, it was Dancing with the Stars on ice skates. The show was canceled after the 2013 season.
