The long barrow is located on the southern tip of the Danish island of Sejerø just off the coast of Zealand. Due to the isolated location of the long barrow, the site is quite well preserved. The majority of the stones that surrounded the barrow still remain and the dolmen still remains.

The long barrow is thought to have constructed between 3950 BC - 2801 BC.
