The Mazda 929, also known in Japan as the Mazda Luce, was first exported into the U.S. and Canadian markets in 1987; primarily sold with V6 engines, a couple I4-engined units were sold as well. After the HC generation, 929s/Sentias were sold with V6 engines only.
