Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (MH 17) was a scheduled flight from Schiphol, Amsterdam, to Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 17. July 2014 when it was shot down by a missile near Donetzk in the Ukraine.

The memorial is made by 298 trees as a green ribbon forest, one for each victim, beside there are also sunflowers.
