On Saturday 6th August 2022 Jany LZ1GJ/P a radio amateur from Bulgaria reached the summit of Modar and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 17 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
