On Monday 14th August 2023, Markus IN3ADF/P, a radio amateur from Italy, reached the summit of Monte Grande / Drasbergspitz and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 43 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
