The Monument to the Great Fire of London or the Monument commemorates the Great Fire of London (September 2-5, 1666). The monument stands on the spot on Pudding Lane where the Great Fire started. The monument was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and stands 202 feet (62 meters) tall.
