Mount Alvernia - highest point in Bahamas


Cat Island, Bahamas (BS)
Mount Alvernia is the highest point in the Bahamas at 207 feet (63 meters) above sea level. At the top of the mountain is a hermitage built by Catholic priest, Monsignor John Hawes. He spent 17 years there.
