On Sunday 30th October 2022, Dale AA7OY, a radio amateur from Alpine, AZ reached the summit of Mount Baldy and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 50 contacts in total working on the 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
