On Saturday 16th July 2022 Ervin KI4AAE a radio amateur from Suwanee, GA reached the summit of Mount Hardy and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 26 contacts in total working on the 40, 20, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
