Mount Major (ZL3/MB-008)

On Tuesday 2nd April 2024, Brandon ZL4NVW/P, a radio amateur from South Island, New Zealand reached the summit of Mount Major and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 5 contacts in total working on the 40m amateur radio band.
