On Friday 19th August 2022, Paul WJ1R a radio amateur from Willington, CT reached the summit of Mount Osceola and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 12 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 20 metre HF radio bands.
