Mount Saint Mary (ZL3/CB-088)

On Wednesday 26th April 2023, Matt ZL4NVM, a radio amateur from South Island New Zealand reached the summit of Mount Saint Mary and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 13 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.

The summit of Mount Saint Mary is 2337 metres (7667 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
