Mt Nunniong (VK3/VG-011)

On Sunday 2nd April 2023, Brian VK3BCM, a radio amateur from the state of Victoria reached the summit of Mt Nunniong and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 8 contacts in total working on the 2m and 40m amateur radio bands.

The summit of Mt Nunniong is 1617 metres (5305 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
