On Friday 15th March 2024 at 12:15 UTC, Lacy YO6CFB radio amateur from Romania made contact with Mario 4O/E73DX a radio amateur from Bosnia and Herzegovina who was operating from the Nacionalni park Lovćen (4OFF-0003) on the 20m amateur radio band.
Nacionalni park Lovćen (4OFF-0003) is a protected area of 6,220 hectares in south-wetern Montenegro which was desgniated in 1952 as an IUCN Management Category II area.
The park incorporates the highest central part of Mt. Lovćen and potects the landscape features of the area together with the historical, architectual and cultural heritage.
