Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest mountain on earth and one of the most difficult to climb. It reaches an elevation of 8,126 meters (26,660 feet). In Urdu it is known as the naked mountain. Unfortunately it is also become known as the "Killer Mountain" as it has taken the lives of many climbers.
