The $43 million National Bowling Stadium, located in the heart of downtown Reno, Nevada, was completed in October of 1994. Major tournaments draw thousands of spectators and athletes annually. The building features 80 Championship lanes, and numerous full-service retail facilities including restaurants, a pro shop, and a domed full-motion theater. Dubbed the "Taj Mahal of Tenpins," by The Los Angeles Times and "Pin Palace" by USA Today, people who bowl at the Stadium say it's "awesome."
The 320,000 s.f. facility also serves as a convention area between scheduled tournaments.
