On Thursday 21st March 2024 at 14:18 UTC, Janos HA8TI a radio amateur from the Hungary made contact with SP9KJU/P a radio club from Poland who was operating from Nature Reserve Rozumice (SPFF-0818) on the 40m amateur radio band. The radio club made 186 contacts in total while they were in the park.
Nature Reserve Rozumice (SPFF-0818), is a protected area of 92 hectares of protected land near the village of Rozumice on the Czech border. It was designated as a Nature Reserve in 2000 is a IUCN Management Category IV area.
