On Sunday 21st April 2024, Svein LA8XGA/P, a radio amateur from Norway, reached the summit of Tjønnholstinden and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 37 contact in total working on the 60m, 40m, 30m and 20m bands.
