Nautical themed house

Esquimalt, Canada (CA)
This small house decorated with several nautical items was nicknamed "The Swallowed Anchor" by it's owner John Keziere. The decorations include a mermaid, a cannon, a ship's wheel, anchors, a seahorse, porpoises, a stork, a crows nest, and a pirate on the roof.

Keziere moved to this house after his wife passed away and took pleasure in entertaining tourists by decorating his home. He died in 1999, but his artwork remained on display.

The house is scheduled to be demolished as part of an upcoming mixed development project. The developers plan on salvaging his decorations to display in a folk art park.
