Several classes of stock cars race on this 1/2 mile red clay oval track. Racing here dates back to the 1960's. The track has previously gone by the names of Antioch Speedway and Lenoir Burke Speedway.

Note - using Bing's measurement tool, this track is actually shorter than a 1/2 mile (.46 along the outside groove, .41 along the bottom). It's not uncommon for short tracks to overstate their size. Therefore, the track's claim to be "North Carolina's Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track" doesn't hold true.
