Nicopolis of Nestum is an ancient Roman town in modern-day Bulgaria. The town one of two fortified towns established to mark Emperor Trajan's victory in 105-106 AD over the Dacians. The town reached its peak in the 4th and 6th centuries AD.

However, the Slavs destroyed the town in the 6th-7th centuries and town re-emerged as a medieval settlement in the late 10th century.

Walls and foundations of the Roman buildings and sections of the surrounding wall are still visible today.
