On Sunday 24th July 2022 Riccardo IU3GKJ/P a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Nuvolao and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 15 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
