Pessegueiro Island (Portuguese: Ilha do Pessegueiro), "island of the Peachtree", is a small island/islet located along the SW coast of the civil parish of Porto Covo in Sines. The island and adjacent coast are part of Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, and the island is also noted for the 1400s-1500s fort located at its center, and Roman ruins along the coast.
