On Tuesday 15th August 2023, Alberto F/EA3GNU/P, a radio amateur from Spain, reached the summit of Pic d'Aygues-Cluses and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 27 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
