On Sunday 10th July 2022 Felipe PU2OYT a radio amateur from Brazil reached the summit of Pico Agudo and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 5 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
