On Wednesday 3rd May 2023, Elena EA4DOS/P and Alejandro EA4DON/P, a couple of radio amateurs from Spain reached the summit of Pico Moros and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 27 contacts in total working on the 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m and 15m amateur radio bands.

The summit of Pico Moros is 2060 metres (6759 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
