Its a pigfarm... hence the little pig sheds everywhere. I guess they must have been creative when designing the pig runs all into a central point.

If you have a bunch of animals you want to keep separated, but you're a lazy farmer and you want to feed and water them from one *central* point, you might come up with a similar layout...
