Pinnacle Point

Pinnacle Point is a small promontory on the shores of the Indian Ocean, near Mossel Bay, South Africa.

Excavations of a series of caves at this point has been done since the year 2000, revealing occupation by Middle Stone Age people between 170,000 and 40,000 years ago.
