This is a karst cave near Postojna, and guided tours are organized in it. The underground river Pivka flows through the cave. Pivka cave is part of the extensive Postojna cave system. The underground river Pivka continues its way to Planinska jama , where it joins the river Rak and flows on under the name Unica, the last karst sinkhole in the series of tributaries of the river Ljubljanica.
